Armchair with frame in lacquered ashwood. Polyrethan foam upholstered seat cushion. Fabric or leather covering.
History:
Designed in 1904 by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. This served as the chair for the director of Miss Granston's Willow Tea Rooms, Gasgow. It was placed in a position between the front area and the rear and served visually as a separating point. The grate design is the curved black appears to be a stylized tree and a play on the name of the tearoom.
